yo! i've signed up to architecture for humanity today. i've worked on some social projects some years ago, including design for the disabled, design for the elderly - i even based my thesis on the problems of the elderly in a public space. our world of modern architecture and modern branding and marketing is going so fast forward, using the hottest modern society trends and insights, that we, designers, often forget that there's a world around us, that needs more basic social insights and some more basic problems to be solved. it's, just like in our society, about people that probably get bored with somenthing and are today fascinated more with something else than ten years ago, that get new diseases and whose social status and attitude changes, that need to be convinced and encouraged to live another way to solve some problems. it's facinating for me, that's why i joined. it's like a whole new parallel world that is waiting for some solutions. for new communicates!
