truskawkowa galaretka /strawberry jelly

Ostatnio odkryłem na nowo pewne miejsce we Wroclawiu, w ktorym nie bylem juz chyba sto lat... Miejsce to, to coctail bar witaminka. Wystroj wnetrza kojarzy mi sie z nieswieza galaretka z nieswieza bita smietana i wisienka. Oh, gdybysmy tylko zyli w latach 80 kiedy galaretka z wisienka byly swieze... :), albo gdyby galaretka z wisienka i bita smietana staly sie swieze i zdrowe, albo rozplywajace sie w ustach i nieziemsko pyszne... W kazdym razie mysl jest taka, ze cos, co kiedys bylo kategorialne, po prostu normalna galaretka i wisienka, dzis, dla przewrazliwionych na punkcie tego, co jedza, konsumentow, jest juz malo przekonujace. Niesie ze soba to, co mainstreamowa galaretka ze z mainstreamowa bita smietana.
I coctail w tym miejscu, mimo, ze ze swiezych owocow, wydaje sie malo zdrowy i mimo, ze ze zmacznych owocow, wydaje sie nie najlepszy...

I have re-discovered a certain place in Wroclaw lately, which i haven't visited for a long time. It's a coctail bar named 'witaminka', meaning 'small vitamin' in Polish. The interior design of this place brings to my mind something an old jelly with an old whipped cream and a cherry. if only we lived in 80's, when jelly and cherry were fresh... :) or if this jelly and cherry and whipped cream were fresh and healthy, or melting in mouth and incredibly delicious... Anyway, the thing is, that something which once didn't stand out of category, because it didn't need to, today isn't convincing enough for modern, oversensitive about what they eat, consumers.
It brings to them what a mainstream jelly with a mainstream whipped cream bring.
A coctail, although it's made of fresh fruit, seems to be unhealthy and, although made of tasty friut, seems to be not as tasty as we'd wish it to be...

I nie bedzie o egzaminie na prawo jazdy :) Miasta portafia zaskakiwac. Juz kiedys pisalem o Wroclawiu i o tym ile miast mozna tu odnalezc w jednym /nieduzym/ miescie.
A dzisiaj odkrylem jeszcze jedno miasto! Wlasciwie jedna ulice, wybudowana pewnie jakies 100 lat temu przez Niemcow, w miejscu, gdzie prawie konczy sie dzisiejszy Wrocław. Zaskakujaco, posrod jakichs zakladow gazowych i ogolnie w dzielnicy przemyslowej o bardzo niskiej gestosci zabudowy - jedna mala przytulna uliczka - Kamieniecka.

And it won't be about a driving license test :) Cities can astonish. I wrote once /about Wroclaw/ how many cities can be found in one /medium sized/ city. Today I discovered another one! It's a street actually, build a 100 years ago, i suppose, by the Germans, in a place, where contemporary Wroclaw almost ends. Surprisingly, among some gas enterprizes and in an industrial, very very low density zone - one tiny cosy street - Kamieniecka street. A hole in a moodboard of the neighbourhood.
